The nasi lemak here uses jasmine rice, offering a distinct flavor. Although I found the coconut taste not as pronounced as I had hoped, the other elements, especially the sambal, were to my liking—perfectly spicy and salty with a hint of sweetness.

Selera Rasa Nasi Lemak: Classic Yet Irresistible

On the other hand, Selera Rasa Nasi Lemak boasts over 28 years of experience and is well-known at Adam Road Food Centre. With seven different options available, the Set G Royal Rumble, priced at S$7, is considered the best choice, featuring a complete set of chicken wings, ikan kuning, and begedil.

The rice here is made from basmati, providing a stronger coconut flavor compared to So Lemak, though sometimes the sambal can be overly sweet for my taste, which can be a bit overwhelming. Nevertheless, for many, this remains a must-try due to the consistency and quality of the dish over the years.
