Fujairah Train Station is the first completed passenger station in the Etihad Rail network, covering an area of approximately 51,900 square meters. The Journey on the Train

My trial ride from Fujairah Train Station to Al Bithnah Bridge lasted only about 10 minutes, yet it was exhilarating. Passengers sit comfortably in clean, quiet carriages. The train offers two classes: Comfort and Premium. The Comfort class features standard cabins designed for relaxation, with spacious leather seats and convenient folding tables. The Premium class offers an elevated experience with even more spacious seating and extra amenities like phone holders.

Onboard, Etihad Rail provides Wi-Fi, power outlets at each seat, storage space, and features to assist passengers with disabilities. Once fully operational, each train can carry around 400 passengers, reaching speeds of up to 200 km/h.

Scenic Views Along the Route

Looking out the window, Fujairah reveals a different charm compared to traveling by car. Lush green fields and low-rise houses stretch alongside the railway, with majestic mountains in the distance. Sitting on the train, enjoying the passing scenery without worrying about driving is a delightful experience.

Anticipating Passenger Services

The Etihad Rail network spans approximately 900 km and currently supports freight transport at 11 ports. Passenger services are set to officially begin in 2026, connecting 11 major cities across the UAE, with the first routes linking Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Fujairah. The journey from Dubai to Fujairah promises to be one of the most exciting experiences, allowing you to transition from the heights of skyscrapers to peaceful countryside immersed in nature.

Useful Information for Vietnamese Travelers

To participate in this experience, you need to prepare your visa information in advance. Vietnamese travelers must obtain a UAE tourist visa before entry, which can be applied for online or at the UAE representative office in Vietnam. Flight prices from Vietnam to Dubai typically range from 8 to 15 million VND, depending on the booking time. From Dubai, you can use the Etihad Rail service to explore other cities within the Emirates.

When traveling in the UAE, be mindful of the time zone. The UAE is currently in UTC+4, which is 3 hours ahead of Vietnam. The best time to visit is from October to April, when temperatures are more pleasant and suitable for outdoor activities.
